Budget Overview 2020-2021

Elkton Area Community Center Extends Hours
The Community Center will re-open on Monday, July 20 with some restrictions.
We are excited to welcome our residents and guests back to the Center and
look forward to seeing some familiar faces again!

Beginning Monday, August 3rd, the center will further expand its hours to include evenings. The new hours are as follows:

8:00 am - 1:00 pm and
4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Monday through Friday

This new schedule will be in effect through August 14 at which time we will once again re-evaluate COVID conditions and hopefully continue to expand our hours. The goal is to return to regular hours as soon as possible.

Staff will conduct a screening of anyone entering the building to include temperature check as well as inquiring about recent travel.  Please help us keep the center open by following social distancing, wiping down the equipment being used and washing your hands frequently!

Town Government and Operations
All essential functions of the Elkton Town Government will continue.

Police: The Elkton Police Department will continue to respond to emergency and essential calls throughout this COVID-19 event.  If you have an emergency, please call 911.  Regular traffic and community patrols will continue as well.  In order to protect our officers and help limit the spread of this virus, most non-emergency calls will be handled via telephone.

Utility customers:  It should be noted, customers may still pay their utility bills by utilizing the drop box out front of the Community Center, by paying at First Bank (on or before the due date), by calling 1-844-269-2736, or paying online at www.payelktonva.com.  There will be limited staff in the building, however, we will be checking the mail and drop box daily.
We will provide updates on our Facebook page- Town of Elkton, Virginia, and on our website- www.elktonva.gov. as we have new information.

Thank you all as we will continue to work together throughout this COVID-19 event!
