Clerk of Council
The Clerk of Council’s Office provides administrative support to the Mayor and six member Town Council which includes attending and keeping records of all Town Council Meetings, keeping accurate minutes to include all votes taken by Council, processing ordinances and resolutions adopted by the Council, maintaining the Town Charter and Code, as well as all archival records of previous administrations.

Regular Town Council Meeting:

Freedom of Information Act
The Clerk of Council processes all Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. It is the policy of this office to make public records available in accordance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, § 2.2-3700 et seq. of the Code of Virginia.
