Elkton Area Community Center
The Elkton Area Community Center, a joint project by the Town of Elkton and Rockingham County, is now open to serve the citizens of eastern Rockingham County and surrounding areas.
The design of this center allows many opportunities for various programs and activities for all ages. This includes recreation programs as well as community programs and events.
Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday - 7:00 a.m. -- 9:00 p.m.
Saturday - 9:00 a.m. -- 3:00 p.m.
Sunday - Closed

The center offers many resources including:
- Nautilus and Precor fitness equipment
- Cushioned Walking track
- Billiards, Ping Pong, Foos Ball and Air Hockey game area
- Gymnastics, Dance and Recreation area with athletic flooring
- Mirrored aerobics room with athletic flooring
- Computer Room with eight stations
- Three large community rooms (250-300 people) suitable for dances, family reunions, wedding receptions, community groups and business meetings
- Large commercial kitchen
- Community Meeting Room
Monthly and Yearly memberships are available and walk-in fees are $3.00 for Rockingham County residents and $4.00 for non-county residents. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times unless attending a class or special event.
