Elkton Welcome Center
Elkton Welcome Center offers visitor information and assistance and houses a museum of local history. We commit to preserve area history, participate with the community and promote our Town.
We are downtown at 306 West Spotswood Avenue, in the blue building near the "Y" and the railroad crossing.
We are preparing for a number of new activities and events for Elkton: Bells of Christmas Parade, scheduled for December 1 at 10:00 am in Downtown Elkton (registration is required); Deck the Halls, a project to decorate for Christmas; and, the Virginia is for Lovers LOVE artwork - which arrives at Jennings Hall on November 30.
Our museum of local history includes photos that span a century, artifacts that celebrate our culture, and a small collection of genealogy books for research. The Center also hosts special exhibits that showcase area talents, cultures or themes. Check in with us from time to time and see what we're doing! We participate with the community by hosting small events that bring folks together and by lending our hands and talents to community organizations in need. Elkton Welcome Center promotes our Town by greeting visitors and guiding them to information about activities that will round out their visit to our area.
Elkton Welcome Center strongly believes that we each have opportunities to support our community and our Town. We encourage you to get involved. Stop in for more information on how you can make a difference.
